Helping you find a more purposeful and peaceful mindspace.

Meet Dr. Rani

I truly find joy and purpose in connecting with others. It is gratifying and humbling to be of service to others. Since childhood, I found that I am uniquely able to connect to others with ease and help them truly feel seen- regardless of age, background, or culture. I have always had an innate curiosity about the mechanics of the human mind and behavior. It is for these reasons that I chose to pursue a career in clinical psychology.

I hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Political Science from U.C. Berkeley and achieved my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. I have extensive experience in working in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health and primary health clinics.

I provide my clients with a confidential and non-judgmental space to process their concerns, while also providing compassionate guidance to help them unearth valuable insights about themselves. I integrate practical and hands-on coping skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I also think it’s incredibly valuable to teach my clients about the neurobiological substrates impacting thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. (make description of  DBT/ACT/EMDR  clickable/or pop out)

My style, knowledge, and techniques not only derive from textbook learning and the clinical practice- but also from real lived experiences that broadened my scope of the human condition and suffering. I’m a proud Sonoma County native and a lover of nature, music, and good food. I hope to be of service to you and elevate and enhance your quality of life.

Dr. Bhadare’s Therapeutic Style

“I develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and preferences of my clients. I’m skilled in a variety of therapeutic modalities and utilize a compassionate person-centered approach to provide authentic presence and compassion for healing and growth. Our work together will reflect your goals and needs at the moment and for the future.

Our first session will be focused on getting to know your background and current concerns, as well as a general sense of your medical history. The mind and body are integrally connected and impact each other. I believe it’s important to take a look at how physical health factors and lifestyle habits might be impacting your mental health and vice versa.

Some sessions will be about helping to guide you in processing your thoughts and emotions, with the aim of helping you gain insight to improve your quality of life. Other sessions might include teaching you tools and truths to better navigate life stressors. If you work with a psychiatrist or medication-provider, I am experienced in providing collaborative multi-disciplinary care to optimize your care and help you achieve more rapid results.
